| 2. | Alhamdu lillaahi Rabbil ‘aalameen | Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; | الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ |
| 3. | Ar-Rahmaanir-Raheem | Most Gracious, Most Merciful | الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 4. | Maaliki Yawmid-Deen | Master of the Day of Judgment. | مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ |
| 5. | Iyyaaka na’budu wa lyyaaka nasta’een | Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek. | إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ |

| 7. | Siraatal-lazeena an’amta ‘alaihim ghayril-maghdoobi ‘alaihim wa lad-daaalleen | The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. | صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ |
