Manually calibrating your compass can resolve most accuracy issues.
Android
On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app.
Tap on the blue location icon to bring up more information about your location. At the bottom, tap the “Calibrate Compass” button. Follow the on screen steps to complete the process.
iOS (As of iOS 14)
Go to the “Settings” app on the iPhone.
Scroll down and tap “Privacy”.
Tap “Location Services”.
Swipe up the screen to the last, open “System Services”.
Toggle on “Compass Calibration”.
Note – magnetic interference could stop the Compass working correctly or give false outputs. It is advised to keep Magnets away from your device and remove the case if it consists of any magnetic part.

Muslims make up an estimated 1.8 billion of the worlds population, and each time they pray, they turn their faces in one direction, towards Mecca where the Kaaba is situated. The Islamic term for this direction is qibla. It is a sign of unity that encapsulates the unity embedded in the religion of Islam and provides a common sense or purpose for believers.

The Kaaba is a small cube shaped building in the courtyard of the mosque known as Masjid Al Haram, in the city of Mecca, in the country of Saudi Arabia.
